Application for Grant Funding

21st Century Community Learning Centers Program

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program provides federal funding to establish or expand community learning centers. These centers provide students with opportunities for academic enrichment, youth development, and family support during non-school hours or during periods when school is not in session. The proposed program will provide an array of services, programs, and activities designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students. Examples of programs and activities may include:

  • Homework assistance and tutoring

  • STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) enrichment

  • Social and emotional learning opportunities

  • Health and fitness activities

  • Family engagement and support services

  • Partnerships with community organizations and entities that provide programming for students and family members

The goal of the program is to support student achievement, encourage positive youth development, and strengthen family and community involvement.

Stigler Public Schools is currently completing an application for 2026-2027 funding for the 21st CCLC grant program to serve Stigler Elementary School. The application deadline is May 21, 2026.
